Children thrive on repetition.
Encourage your teachers to work the Gospel, the ABCs & Colors of Salvation INTO EVERYTHING. Talk to the class as a whole, but encourage every worker to talk one-on-one with the children throughout the night, not just at invitation. Allow children to make their OWN decisions instead of prodding or asking them yes/no questions. We never want to give a child the false hope of a profession where the Holy Spirit may not be working on their heart. Where there is no conviction, there is no salvation. John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him...” The goal is NOT to increase numbers, but rather allow the Lord to do the work in the child’s heart. Allow them to initiate the questions and conversations about their salvation. Our responsibility is simply to pour the Word of God into them, explaining the Truth thoroughly, and allow the Lord to do the rest. 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” Consider having a meeting with your workers prior to the start of the program to discuss how to deal with children about their salvation. |
